St Kilda Indigenous Nursery Co-operative (SKINC) grows and sells local native plants from the sandbelt area of Melbourne (south of the Yarra to Frankston). The nursery is open to the public for plant sales Monday to Saturday 10 - 4.
SKINC is a wholesale and retail nursery. Wholesale prices are available to landscapers and garden businesses, Friends Groups, schools and kindergartens.
We propagate a wide range of coastal, heathland, woodland and grassland species. Most of the plants are drought tolerant and low maintenance.
SKINC offers a variety of services: environmental consulting, seed collecting, contract growing, garden advice and landscape design, landscaping, and garden maintenance.
SKINC is a not-for-profit co-operative, owned and run by its members.
