St Kilda Indigenous Nursery Co-operative (SKINC) grows and sells local native plants from the sandbelt area of Melbourne (south of the Yarra to Frankston).
Our friend, Charles Saffroy of Growing Natives, also sells non-local native plants to the general public from the retail section of our nursery.
SKINC is a wholesale and retail nursery. Wholesale prices are available to landscapers and garden businesses, Friends Groups, schools and kindergartens.
We propagate a wide range of coastal, heathland, woodland and grassland species. Most of the plants are drought tolerant and low maintenance.
SKINC offers a variety of services: environmental consulting, seed collecting, contract growing, garden advice and landscape design, landscaping, and garden maintenance.
SKINC is a not-for-profit co-operative, owned and run by its members.
